The program that we provide is based upon research and recommendations from experts in the field of early childhood education. Children learn through play, helping children develop skills and concepts necessary to master literacy, math, science and all academic areas while building competencies that are necessary for success in school and beyond. Our program is developmentally appropriate, where children learn through hand-on experiences. Activities include:
- puzzles and manipulative toys
- blocks
- trucks & trains
- art media
- writing and listening centers
- language and literacy development
- water table
- nature and science
- music and movement
- math experiences
- easel painting
- dramatic play
- cooking
- woodworking
- circle time

The well planned, daily routine incorporates child-centered activities which encourage learning and discovery, creativity, problem solving, language, literacy and independence.

Teachers visit children at home prior to the start of school, easing the transition from home to school and facilitating a successful separation.

Unique experiences such as the Alvin Ailey creative movement and dance program, as well as yoga for children

Healthy, nutritious snacks are brought in by participating parents. The school provides organic apple juice and bottled water.
