Workshops for Parents

Each year the Roslyn Trinity Co-op offers its parent members seminars on various facets of preschool education, childhood development and parenting. These interactive workshops are led by Director Lindi Nubel as well as education and counseling professionals. Topics include:

Let's Talk About Two-Year-Olds
Three-Year-Old Development
Four-Year-Old Development
Transition to Kindergarten
Understanding Your Child's Temperament
Discipline and Limit Setting
Fostering a Positive Self-Esteem

In addition, the Co-op holds three business meetings each year. These meetings are an opportunity for parents to bring ideas and concerns to the membership and to be informed of current Co-op issues. When all business is completed, there is a guest speaker, focusing on a topic relevant to early childhood development.
