The Roslyn Trinity Co-op offers a terrific summer camp for children who have finished a 3s or 4s program. It runs for 6 weeks, Monday through Thursday, 9:00-1:00 PM.
The program’s activities — which include creative art, water table, sandbox, climbing, sliding and easel painting — take place outdoors in the playground. The playground offers cool breezes and ample shade from our new oversized sandbox shade cover, as well as from the natural tree coverage. In case of rain or extreme heat, the Co-op’s air conditioned classrooms and indoor gym are used. A special music or science event — along with the camp pizza party, making tie dyed shirts, designing lunch sacks, parades and Cozy Coupe car washes — are all part of the fun.
Children eat lunch at camp and enjoy a fresh juicy ice pop to cool off after a fun-filled day.
Ready For 3's Summer Camp
If your child is old enough to enter a 3s program in the coming fall, the Co-op has two wonderful summer camp programs to choose from. Parents have a choice of either a 2 1/2 hour separating program, or, a 2 hour non-separating program. Both programs meet twice a week for six weeks.
In both programs children enjoy well planned, creative activities such as: art, water table, dramatic play, block building, puzzles, fine motor activities, books, trains, trucks and easel painting. Story time, music & movement activities and playground time are also part of your chid’s day. Curriculum is focused on the beauty and joys of summer. Fun activities such as outdoor painting with water, bubble blowing, and sand play are all part of your child's day. In the event of rain or extreme heat, our wonderful indoor gym is used. Special activities also include planting and making summer snacks including orange juice ice pops and frozen banana treats.
